Cardinal

A cardinal on the back yard mullberry tree.
I wonder why when some people take bird pictures, they are pretty and when I get a chance at a close and lethargic cardinal, it looks like a crazy, stuffed monstrosity from the dollar store that I glued to the tree. It isn’t, but even I think it looks like it.

    Hey, you do not need a bee to do closeup . This red guy , especially on first shot, is Super cool !!!! Did you feed him to get such a super macro ??

    I have to agree about the “stuffed monstrosity from the dollar store” look of the bird on the first shot. Well at least I can see what you mean and you really made me laugh with these words.
    But seriously, it is a fantastic shot, Mike. So crisp and colorful. Very well caught, my friend.
