I wonder if this place at Fort Hancock, Sandy Hook was JK Rowlings inspiration?

Yes, it’s a real picture and yes, it says Battery Potter. Of course, the ghostly cast was added for entertainment purposes only. You know you were going to ask.

    That’s Battery potter from sandy hook NJ built in 1892 (actually it was not completed until 1896), I kid you not but there is also a 10 inch disappearing gun battery named Battery Granger just down the road from Battery Potter and was built in 1898. Granger and potter were disappearing gun batteries as the guns would move down into the battery while reloading and pop up to fire, a sort of mechanical magic show.
