Michael, Travis and I drove upstate to an abandoned asylum and poked around for hours. Sometimes in the dark with flashlights.

The body refrigerators and draining tables in the morgue were a bit much in the dark, but that’s tomorrow’s story.

The place, in all it’s decay, was actually quite beautiful.

Be the first to like.

Wow! You really got some haunting images. Walking around a place like that in the dark with flashlights makes me shiver just to think about it. Visions of Freddie or Jason around every corner… I love how some of the windows still have curtains and the one with the chair by the curtained window suggests the ghosts of lonely, sad people sitting there wondering how they got to such a terrible place. Great work Michael!

I love the whole series but #6 & #15 are my favorites!!! You know how much I love stairwells so #6 really speaks to me. #15…… the lines and dof are amazing and pulls me in all the way down the hallway. Now, are you sure you didn’t cause this damage in a previous mad moment trying to break out of the asylum instead of discovering it after breaking in?
